Abstract:

This study examines antennas with a characteristic cardioid radiation pattern, their applications to VHF radio communications and their design, construction and performance. Structures are investigated using both the Mini Numerical Electromagnetics Code MININEC and the Numerical Electromagnetics Code NEC.
