Abstract:
This pamphlet is a compact, unclassified, tabular climatology of weather conditions that can affect operations in V Corps forward areas which, for the purposes of this document, is the region bounded by 50 to 51 degrees north and 09 to 10 degrees east. The area encompasses west central West Germany and a small portion of East Germany. Terrain is hilly elevations range from 100 to 950 meters 300 to 3,000 feet. Terrain variations here can be such as to affect weather conditions significantly from one point to another. The handbook provides tabular climatology of weather conditions that affect tactical operations in V Corps forward areas. It is printed in 5-12 X 8-in. format for tactical use.
