Our research in design of experiments included the following areas 1 Efficient designs for experiments involving several factors 2 Efficient designs for repeated measurements models 3 Trade off in designs 4 Flexible orthogonal arrays 5 Efficient designs for comparing test treatments with controls and 6 Designs for collecting data through sampling. Our research in reliability has been mainly directed to the following areas 1 Multistate reliability models 2 Optimal assembly of coherent systems both in the binary and multistate cases 3 Redundancy importance and allocation of spares in coherent systems 4 Closure properties of classes of life distributions and 5 Optimal inspection policies.
