Abstract:

This report discusses different design concepts for particle beam accelerators. It demonstrates that with the use of high temperature superconducting materials, a more compact, lighter, and more robust accelerator design can be realized for the space based neutral particle beam NPB accelerator. Particle accelerators, Neutral particle beam, High temperature superconductivity, Cryogenic systems, Directed energy weapons, RF cavities.
