This report describes the equipment purchased by the University of Illinois Advanced Construction Technology Center with funds provided by the U.S. Army Research Office. The Centers research goal is to advance the scientific and technologic base necessary to support a major infusion of advanced technology into aspects of construction engineering to reduce significantly the life cycle costs of Army base support facilities. The research equipment described in this report was essential for developing research program in the areas of The Nondestructive Evaluation Technologies for Constructed Works Construction Site Metrology Computer Aided Construction New Technologies and Materials for Building Construction Special Technologies.
