Abstract:

This is the final Scientific and Technical Report for the integration of the Field Programmable Algorithm Demonstrator FPAD into the Fast Algorithm Simulation and Test FAST Facility at the Center for Night Vision and Electro-Optics CNVEO. This report covers the activity period from July 1985 to November 1987. The primary function of this document is to serve as a comprehensive users guide for all the FPAD FAST application and support software packages. These packages include Feature Analysis Image Characteristics Ground Truthing Automatic Data Processing Video Configuration Selection Frame Number Referencing NATO Tape Read and VAX FPAD Interface. The final five sections of this document describe how to boot the FPAD system, summarizes the algorithms used in the project, identifies the documentation produced, defines the abbreviations used in the document, and provides a cross reference to FAST contract tasks.
