Abstract:

This case study is intended to provide an overview of trade offsets and how these arrangements affect the domestic FA-18 Strike Fighter program. The study defines trade offsets and interprets the existing Department of Defense DOD policy concerning these arrangements. Using the FA-18 as a case study the researcher considered the impact of these offsets in a management analysis manner relative to the Program Manager.
