Abstract:
Electropolymerized films of Ruv-bpy32 on a tungstencarbon layered synthetic microstructure LSM with a 30A d-spacing exhibit molecular ordering as measured by the x-ray standing wave technique where the reflectivity across the first order Bragg reflection as well as the intensity of the characteristic Ruka fluorescence at 19.3 keV ar simultaneously monitored. A well developed modulation in the Ruka fluorescence intensity is indicative of a molecularly ordered layer. Keywords electropolymerization, X ray standing waves, synchrotron radiation, Ruthenium compounds.
