Abstract:
This thesis presents the methodology for a detailed vulnerability assessment of generic helicopter in the conceptualpreliminary design stage. The intent of this thesis if to provide a workable and understandable example of a vulnerability assessment. Towards that end, the single hit vulnerability of a helicopter to a 100 grain fragment is determined using the methodology presented in the textbook, The Fundamentals of Aircraft Combat Survivability Analysis and Design.
