Abstract:

The purpose of this task is to undertake a field investigation at Sheppard AFB TX to determine the presence or absence of contamination within the specified areas of investigation if contamination exists, determine the potential for migration of those contaminans in the various environmental media identify additional investigations necessary to determine the magnitude, extent, direction and rate of migration of discovered contaminants and identify potential environmental consequences and health risks of migrating pollutants. The Phase I IRP Report incorporates the background and description of the sites for this task.
