Abstract:

An analysis is made of the photographic problems related to obtaining both high resolution and high framing motion pictures of high velocity tank gun projectiles in flight. Current and postulated solutions are examined in light of current and projected ammunition performance. Basic performance requirements for a projectile follower system are presented.
