Abstract:

The Joint AirborneAir Transportability Training JAATT program is a Joint Chiefs of Staff sponsored, Air Force funded, Military Airlift Command MAC managed program that provides vital combat readiness training for MAC aircrews and users form other services. The JAATT mission is an integral part of our joint training program and directly contributes to the realistic training of our military forces. Each JAATT mission involves extensive coordination, planning, and preparation in order to derive the maximum JOINT training benefit attainable. This is a handbook for mission planners, executioners, and users who are involved in C-130 Joint AirborneAir Transportability Training JAATT. The handbook emphasizes the tactical level of responsibility of the mission commander and user coordinator. The considerations and coordination requirements to fulfill the Joint Training mission are identified, explained, and compiled.
