The specific conductance and pH of aqueous solutions of 1-methyl-3-ethylimidazolium chloride MECH1 were measured at room temperature. The behavior of MEIC1 is characteristic of a strong electrolyte. The transport numbers of MEI and C1- calculated from single ion equivalent conductances at infinite dilution were tMEI 0.29 and t-C1- 0.71. Keywords imidazoles, chlorides.
