This report describes the human factors evaluation of the Light Armored Vehicle MaintenanceRecovery Vehicle LAVMRV that took place at Twentynine Palms, California, from December 1983 to April 1984. The evaluation was in conjunction with Operational Test II of the LAVMRV conducted jointly by the Marine Corps Operational Test and Evaluation Agency OTEA and the Army OTEA. The report documents man-machine interface and safety problems recommended for correction before full-scale production if maximum effectiveness is to be realized.
