An interlaboratory study was conducted to compare two new hydroxyl equivalent weight methods. The methods tested were a toluenesulfonyl isocyanate procedure and a N-methyl-imidazole catalyzed acetic anhydride procedure. The statistical analysis of the data, interpretation of the results are discussed, as well as the problems encountered in running this type of study and suggestions are made for conducting future studies.
