Abstract:

The Acousto-Optic Spectrum Analyzer AOSA can generate data at rates on the order of 10 to the 8th power samplessecond. This report describes a practical series-parallel post-processor architecture for performing operations of linear and non-linear filtering, peak detection and thresholding of the data in the time domain and also in the spatial domain which corresponds to the spectrum of the input signal.
