Radiation Transport in a Nitrogen Plasma General Formalism and 1- Dimensional Model

A time dependent, multi-line radiative transfer model is developed for a hot nitrogen plasma. The approach relies on a probablistic treatment for propagating photons. While spectra line transfer is emphasized continuum radiation is also accounted for. The model is valid for nonequilibrium conditions.
