This letter considers in detail plane wave scattering by a vibrating plane and thereby demonstrates analytically that Censors theory predicts sum and difference frequency component waves that are of the order of magnitude of pseudosound. This example also illustrates that the parametrically growing sum difference frequency component waves generated nonlinearly overwhelm those predicted by the Censor theory within a fraction of a wavelength of the scatterers surface.
