Pagination or Media Count:
A spectrophotometric method for the quantitation of n-butyl 2-chloroethyl sulfide BCS has been developed using thymolphtalein as the chromogen. The chromophore produced by the reactants has a maximum absorbance at 444 millimicrons and absorbance is linear up to .000001 M BCS. This assay can provide quantitative measurements of the monofunctional mustard down to .000003 M.
