Abstract:

This document is a report of the requirements for a Group Technology Electronics Classification and Coding System ECACS. The report outlines a methodology for code development, identifies implications of these activities for an ECACS and defines a general structure for the code. There are certain general considerations which must be reviewed before actual code development is begun.
