Abstract:
A mathematical analysis is formulated and solved for the unsteady diffusion of gases across a two dimensional cavity surface. The analysis takes into account the effect of variations in cavity length as well as cavity pressure on the unsteady gaseous diffusion. The result of this mathematical analysis approaches the proper limit for steady gas diffusion across a two dimensional cavity surface when the reduced frequency of oscillation goes to zero. Keywords Unsteady gaseous diffusion Cavity length.
