The US Army requires information on the acute toxicity potential of Octahydro-1,3,5,7-tetranitro-1,3,5,7-tetrazocine HMX by oral, dermal and intravenous jroutes. In addition data on the acute skin and eye irritancy and skin sensitisation potentials of HMX are required. This report gives details of the following tests performed on HMX to meet these requirements. Acute Oral Toxicity LD50 Test in Rats. Acute Oral Toxicity LD50 Test in Mice.
