This thesis develops and utilizes electro-thermal analogies to analyze the amount of heat dissipated in a typical transistor cap. A series of parametric curves are developed to illustrate the results obtained. These curves may be used by circuit designers in order to obtain a more precise estimate of the heat sink system requirements. Author
