A study was conducted to evaluate the feasibility of obtaining concurrent measures of event-related potentials ERPs, and event-related magnetic fields ERFs. Subjects participated in an oddball task while simultaneous ERPs and ERFs were recorded. Isocontour field maps generated for the P300 component are consistent with the suggestion that the P300 may be generated in, or near, the hippocampal formation.
