Pagination or Media Count:
During late winter of 1985, the RV New Horizon occupied a total of 149 CTD stations in tne northern half of the Gulf of California. The objective of the cruise was to examine winter hydrographic characteristics, especially as they might apply to water mas formation porcesses in the northern Gulf. This report presnets individual profiles of temperature, salinity and density for tose staions, along with regional composite diagrams fo potential temperature vs salinity. A detailed discussion of the techniques used to process the data is also included, in which a new technique for computing high resolution salinity profiles is introduced.
