Abstract:

The objective of this thesis is to develop a feedback mechanism for the Department of Defense depot maintenance data tape submission process to the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense Acquisition and Logistics, AL. Several methods of data analysis, such as use of data tables, cost statements, trends, charts, ratios, and percentages are presented. These analysis methods are then combined to develop possible reports that could be sent to various levels of users, both in the Department of Defense and external to the Department of Defense. It is recommended that four separate reports be generated for the user groups and an annual report that can be used as a general report of the DOD depot maintenance system.
