Abstract:

A simulation technique is used to determine whether complexity multidimensionality of task performance is complex managerial tasks is trainable. The present report is specifically concerned with measurement. Previous simulation based measurement cf. Streufert, 1983 which had included sixteen measures was extended to thirty-seven primary measures and twelve derived measures. Information is provided on the characteristics and purpose of each of those measures. In addition formulas or related statements that allow calculation of performance scores by other researchers andor in other settings is provided. Further, this report considers the Time-Event Matrix on which measurements is based. Keywords quasi-experimental, simulation, performance excellence, time-event matrix, decision-making, complex and uncertain tasks, multiple measures.
