Abstract:

This quarter, we have generalized the TDFD RCS code to handle materials characterized by 1 Lossy, frequency-dependent dielectrics, 2 Magnetic loss and conductivity, 3 Anisotropy in the xy plane, and 4 Embedded resistive or reactive sheets. Our treatment of frequency dependence goes beyond what had been the state of the art in TDFD codes the frequency dependence here may be anisotropic and may extend across a molecular resonance. The techniques for doing this are documented in the attached article. Time-domain treatment of Maxwells equations in frequency dependent media. This article was written for the March conference in Monterey and represents work entirely inspired by the present contract.
