The main objective of this research is to evaluate the role of temperature and moisture as damage inducing agents in composites. This objective is to be achieved by subjecting composite coupons to several excursions of temperature and humidity, with variations in both amplitudes and rates, and inspecting the resulting damage. Furthermore, the formation and growth of damage are to be modelled analytically in order to relate them to material properties and ambient environmental conditions.
