Abstract:
The Software Technology for Adaptable Reliable Systems STARS project of the Office of the Secretary of Defense seeks sources of information and expertise in the building of mission critical applications software. Component specification, building, testing, maintaining and reutilization are of interest. With the promulgation of Ada as a single High Order Language to build future applications with the three services, there exist new opportunities for reuse of software. Reuse can reduce software system development time and maintenance costs, and improve reliability.
