This thesis analyses data of and builds a simulation model for the track of an underwater vehicles as perceived by a test range of three dimensional short baseline sonar arrays. In this way many random replications of track become available quickly and inexpensively. These simulations support a larger project whose object is to monitor the performance of the test range and provide clues for troubleshooting problems. In particular, joint values of sensor array estimated displacement and reorientation corrections are generated and their error distribution is quantified. Author
