Abstract:

A detailed comparative investigation of OH and OH desorption from OHTiO2, H2Os, and H2Og indicates four different mechanisms are responsible for the OH desorption. Two of these involve a resonant excitation-dissociative attachment-mechanism. The other two mechanisms involve non-resonant excitation or ionization processes similar to that responsible for the OH desorption.
