Abstract:

Principal Hypotheses are 1 Couples who had pre-marital counseling will report greater current marital satisfaction than couples who had no per-marital counseling Schumm Denton, 1970. 2 There will be a positive correlation between a more mature age at marriage and having received pre-marital counseling. Does per-marital counseling make any difference in current marital satisfaction It was found that there is virtually no correlation between premarital counseling and current marital satisfaction. The hypothesis is not supported.
