Abstract:

The objective of this study is to directly measure the impedance and transmissibility characteristics of primates exposed to vertical sinusoidal vibrations and to develop modeling parameters along with interspecies scaling techniques so as to assess vibration effects on humans. This report will compare the biodynamic results obtained with Rhesus monkeys and baboons tested under the same environmental conditions.
