Abstract:

This report describes the results of a program to measure and model the controlling mechanisms of fatigue and creep-crack growth behavior of a typical aircraft engine disk material under high frequencylow frequency loading cycles. The goal of the program is to provide a basis for damage-tolerant design of aircraft engine components under combined high and low frequency loading.
