Abstract:
Explosive formulations have been prepared from RDX, an emulsifiable polyethylene wax and the inert solids graphite, haematite and silicon carbide. The effects of these solids on the impact sensitivity, shock sensitivity and velocity of detonation of the composition have been investigated.
