Abstract:
The temporal dependence, in the picosecond domain, of the coherent anti-Stokes-Raman signal associated with the LO Raman resonance in GaP is used to obtain the complex components of the third-order nonlinear susceptibility. Under certain experimental conditions the measurements in the temporal domain are marked advantageous compared with the traditional measurements in the spectral domain. Keywords include Gallium Phosphide, Coherent Anti Stokes-Raman Scattering, Suspectibility, Raman Spectra, and Resonance.
