This work continues a series of papers on the bending of thin symmetric plates with rapidly varying thickness. The authors compare the relative strengths for the three different choices of scalings. In the case of an isotropic material and one family of stiffeners, our results are complete. For other geometries andor anisotropic materials, more work including computations is still needed.
