Abstract:

A method to perform controlled acoustic tests up to a frequency of 20-25KHZ was explored. This method is based on enhancements to the method currently used to perform random vibration tests. Various methods of signal processing for acoustic intrusion sensors are explored and evaluated. Among the signal processing methods investigated are Doppler approach, Time history approach, Power spectral density approach, and the Cepstrum approach.
