Abstract:

The wide study of diffraction and scattering of radio waves became necessary due to the development of the new branches of technology - radar, radio astronomy, etc. The development of new technology and the reliable operation of radar equipment require the knowledge of the special featurespeculiarities of scattering radio waves by different radar targets. The necessary information stops of ever of vaster and cannot be obtained without the useapplication of new methods of theoretical and experimental study. The methods of calculation of diffraction and scattering of radio waves were substantially developed in recent years. Necessary information for the metallic bodies of simple form sphere, disk, cylinder can be obtained by the theoretical calculations.
