Road shock and vibration, vehicle performance, and fire control system testing requires the use of on-board signal conditioning. The General Purpose Signal Conditioning System GPSCS allows a mix and match approach as its 32 channels can be made up of interchangeable quad differential amplifiers, quad bridge conditioners, and quad charge amplifiers. Built into the system is a microprocessor based system controller that, through a microterminal, allows the operator to control calibration signal injection precision AC, precision DC, and shunt resistance calibration and selectively monitor the output of any of the channels and display either the average or rms value of those signals. The system operates over a temperature range of -25 C to 85 C and under conditions of shock and vibration of at least 1 g rms and 4.2 gs peak. The system requires approximately 3A at 28 VDC.
