An assessment was made of the relative positions of military physicians n52, dental n33 and nurses n54, working within the same hospital, on variables relevant to work and well-being. The guiding model was one that incorporates job characteristics and other situational variables that can be altered by management to foster a more positive quality of worklife. The results indicated that perceptions of some organizational conditions do vary between health care occupations in the same organization. Author
