Abstract:
The method developed in this paper applies to a number of nonlinear minimization problems. The bibliography includes the numerical implementation for several applied problems. The main advantages of the authors approach are generally of the technique, global convergence of the method, its ease of formulation and implementation, and its numerical efficiency. The method can be extended to variational problems.
