Abstract:
The Life Cycle Evaluation concept was developed to provide a systematic approach to implementation and use issues for Army training programs. Two areas are focused on. First, a systematic approach to implementation is required so that the new program is integrated aggressively into the users organization. Second, after implementation a careful evaluation must be conducted on how the program has changed during implementation and its actual in the field, as opposed to potential during RD, effectiveness. In this paper the Life Cycle approach is illustrated by examples taken from the evaluation of the Armys MILES-TES program.
