Abstract:

This research report describes the research performed during the first year of a project to develop a complete personnel system for selecting and classifying all entry level enlisted personnel. In general, the first years activities have been taken up by an intensive period of detailed planning, briefing advisory groups, preparing initial troop requests, and beginning comprehensive predictor and criterion development that will be the basis for later validation work.
