Abstract:
The Battelee project consisted of two major tasks. The first tasks objective was to develop a computer system that would generate vehicle trajectories and leg motion sequences that would enable the adaptive-suspension vehicle to move over rough terrain along a path specified by a human operator. The second task involved the design, fabrication and testing of a safety valve for the foot-lift circuit of the vehicles leg.
