Abstract:

In this paper, we examine the implied faulty sets in the case of the PMC system level fault model. We show that those sets possess a maximality property whenever the system is one-step tau-diagnosable, no two modules test each other and the number of faulty modules is no larger than tau. In addition, we propose a syndrome-decoding algorithm based on that maximality property. Author
