Abstract:

Various levels of field studies were done on 12 U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command TRADOC and U.S. Army Forces Command FORSCOM installations to provide a general overview of ecological disturbance caused by U.S. Army tactical vehicle training. Detailed quantitative data were obtained from Forts Polk, Knox, Hood, and Lewis supplementary semi-quantitative and qualitative studies were done at Forts Benning, Bliss, Carson, Drum, Irwin, Riley, and Stewart, and at Yakima Firing Range.
