Abstract:
Managing the training pipelines to reduce the backlog of students, and thus effecting a reduction in training costs, is a complex and difficult task. Accurately predicting the behavior of the student flow through the pipelines is necessary if the management is to be effective and efficient. The Pipeline Analysis Model PAM is designed to monitor and predict the flow of students at various points in the Navy training pipelines. This report presents the Pipeline Analysis Model and provides a guide to the operations of the model.
