A balloon-borne aerosol particle spectrometer was operated near Grafenwoehr, West Germany, at intervals during the 1975-1976 winter to measure size distribution of fog and haze particles as a function of altitude. The work was done at the request of the USA Night Vision Laboratory in support of an extensive test program conducted by that organization. This report was prepared to present the actual data in reduced form, in order to make them available to interested parties as soon as possible. Other reports will follow which deal with Mie theory computations made on these data, and their implication concerning atmospheric transmission.
